Abstract
⺠We study the recovery potential of six dominant mangrove species. ⺠Mortality is higher in Bruguiera sexangula and Rhizophora apiculata. ⺠Species-specific recovery potential is relatively varied. ⺠Avicennia officinalis is persistent by cyclone impact and harvesting tolerance. ⺠Mangroves show considerable resilience after cyclone disturbance.
