Abstract
⺠Most forest stand attributes infer higher biodiversity values in Lithuania. ⺠Current forest management practices imply increasing biodiversity gap between countries. ⺠These effects in part are unintended outcome of silvicultural paradigms and other factors. ⺠Harmonisation of forest inventories is necessary for systematic international comparisons.
