Abstract
⺠Post-outbreak salvage harvest reduced advance regeneration by about 50%. ⺠Post-outbreak forest composition was minimally altered by salvage harvest. ⺠Effects of salvage harvest on soil inorganic nitrogen availability were minimal. ⺠Salvage harvest reduced canopy fuels but increased dead woody surface fuels. ⺠Altered fuels could affect future fire behavior in harvested plots.
