Abstract
► We assess the regional distribution of economic impacts from climate change and adaptation in the Canadian forest sector over the 2010-80 period. ► Regional computable general equilibrium models are defined for 6 regions in Canada. ► 16 Economic growth, climate change, timber supply, and adaptation scenarios are considered. ► Significant variation in GDP impacts exists between regions. ► Net present value analysis indicates that adaptation may be justified in every region.
