Abstract
⺠This study estimates the willingness of family forest owners to participate in carbon offset markets at different compensation levels. ⺠A survey of 2,200 landowners in the Lake States assessed owner, parcel and carbon credit program characteristics (850 usable responses received). ⺠Logistic regression was used to model survey results. ⺠Results indicate some Lake States owners are interested in selling carbon credits under certain financial and contractual conditions.
