Abstract
- The Community-based Social Farming is the precursor and the avant-garde for a new form of rural entrepreneurship in Poland.
- The new binding and bridging bonds are formed, connecting farmers, inhabitants, and beneficiaries of social services.
- It enables tightening of relations among various actors associated with social farming.
- CSF creates possibilities of obtaining additional sources of income, and reinforces local identity.
- The CSF model is universal, and it is particularly recommended in rural areas characterised by fragmentation.
