Abstract
Under UV or visible light irradiation with energy (hv) greater than the band-gap energy of BiOI and/or ZnSn(OH)6, when ZnSn(OH)6 and BiOI were brought in contact, the energy levels difference between ZnSn(OH)6 and BiOI caused that the electrons flowed from one phase to another. In this way, the photogenerated electron-hole pairs BiOI/ZnSn(OH)6 composites were effectively separated.
