Abstract
► Kinetic analysis of CO2capture was conducted using amine based (PEI) mesoporous sorbent in fluid bed. ► Breakthrough tests were performed varying bed temperature, flow rates and CO2 levels. ► Sorbent capacity, rate constants, reaction zone length, and utilization factors were extracted. ► The sorbent capacity increased with temperature up to 70 °C and then decreased. ► The adsorption rate constant exhibited a negative temperature dependence decreasing as the T increased.
