Abstract
- Mg-Al-Cl LDH synthesized in this study has a highly crystalline structure.
- All NH-LDHs are sensitive to pH and they have zwitter ion characteristics at pH 5.5.
- NH1-LDHs synthesized in this study might be used as an alternative water absorbent in the solution with the different pH.
- For the preparation of the NH1-LDHs with a high modulus, using very small amounts of Mg-Al-Cl LDH is adequate.
- NH-LDHs might also be used as thermally stable nanocomposite hydrogel.
