Abstract
- A novel Pt-modified hollow TiO2 (HPT) spheres were synthesized.
- HPT exhibits good photocatalytic ability under visible light irradiation.
- The concept is expected to be applicable to fabricate other hollow materials.
- Reaction mechanism for wastewater treatment is proposed.
