Abstract
- Bismuth titanate powders were synthesized by the Oxidant Peroxide Method (OPM).
- Pure and crystalline Bi4Ti3O12 and Bi12TiO20 were obtained at mild conditions.
- Morphology and particle size were controlled by adjusting the temperature.
- Bi4Ti3O12 and Bi12TiO20 were used as catalyst for the photodegradation of rhodamine B.
- Bi4Ti3O12 calcined at 900 °C showed the best photocatalytic activity.
