Abstract
- We study on the multipass HEN synthesis to save total cost and avoid temperature cross.
- The composite curves of HEN with multipass SHE are modified considering the flow direction.
- The minimum temperature difference and total cost will be varied with the changing of the number of shell and tube passes.
- The minimum temperature difference is optimized based on the number targeting of shell and tube passes.
- Pinch match rules are used to synthesis the multipass HEN.
