Entrepreneur‐managers in six companies TIG residents were interviewed by means of a standard script with open questions. The responses were processed and analyzed using qualitative methods with the application of the technique of content analysis. The results showed the importance of the contribution of TIG for having undertaken to incubated companies: a) offering innovative products associated with personalized customer service as a differentiator in creating value for them; b) developing the infrastructure and technical knowledge as their tangible and intangible strategic resources; c) developing the capabilities for efficient business management and effective networking in their business sector, allowing the exploitation of market opportunities and reduce threats from competitors. It was also possible to observe aspects of the culture immanent into the development of entrepreneurs, namely the absorption of the strategic vision and business management concepts, and the value given by them as recognition of the support received from TIG.
