Morphology and colors of LiCoPO4 samples realized by different synthesis conditions and environments. The particle size and the crystal field splitting of Co2+ in tetrahedral (Pna21) and octahedral environment (Pnma and Cmcm) determines the (electrochemical)properties of the polymorphs.151
