Abstract
Advanced supercapacitors with neutral aqueous electrolytes are highly promising candidates for large scale energy storage and conversion applications because of their superior safety and extremely low cost. The present work demonstrates a strategy to obtain a dramatically improved performance by using hierarchically porous carbons with high surface area as supercapacitor electrode materials, which are prepared by one-step template-free method.186
