Abstract
Well-dispersed bimetallic Pd@Pt nanodendrites uniformly supported on XC-72 carbon nanospheres, are successfully synthesized by using different capping agents. The as-obtained reflux-treated Pd@Pt/C catalysts manifest superior catalytic activity and stability both in terms of surface and mass specific activities toward the methanol and ethanol oxidation reaction, as compared to the un-treated samples and commercial Pt/C and Pd/C catalysts.239
