Abstract
The Pyr1,2O1TFSI/TEGDME electrolyte with LiTFSI/LiODFB binary lithium salts in the optimum mole ratio of 6:4 synergistically afford acceptable capacity and coulombic efficiency for Li-S batteries. One of the reasons is that LiODFB can facilitate the SEI layer formation on the surface of the electrodes which prevents the shuttle phenomenon and protects the Li anode in the Li-S batteries.240
