Abstract
NiS2/graphene composite is synthesized by l-cysteine-assisted hydrothermal route in the presence of graphene oxide sheets. The sphere-like NiS2 particles are well dispersed on the surface of graphene sheets. The NiS2/graphene delivers a reversible capacity as high as 1200 mAh gâ1 with the significantly enhanced rate capability. The capacity of 810 mAh gâ1 at 500 mA gâ1 can be preserved after 1000 cycles, indicating its excellent cyclic performance.205
