Abstract
A high rate and efficient Li-O2 battery. Binder-free Pt nanosheets arrays with CuO cathode provides high rate capability (1 A g−1) and low charging overpotential (0.40 V). By introducing CuO, Li2O2 interacts better on catalyst surface resulting in the Li2O2 thin layer formation during discharging, which shorten the electron route for oxygen-evolution reaction and thus improve the round-trip efficiency (71%).190
