Abstract
Hierarchical nanoporous (HNP) PtTi alloy is successfully fabricated by simple two-step dealloying. The as-prepared HNP-Pt75Ti25 alloy consists of interconnected bimodal nanoporous architecture with two order ligament/pore size distributions and interconnected hollow channels extending in all three dimensions. Compared with NP-Pt and commercial Pt/C catalysts, HNP-Pt75Ti25 alloy shows superior ORR activities and structure stability in virtue of the perfect combination of unique hierarchical nanoporous architecture and appropriate alloying effect.209
