Abstract
154A novel anode was constructed by embedding carbon nanoparticles into stainless steel fiber felt (SSFF). The experimental results showed that these modified electrodes as anodes greatly improved the MFC performance. The reason is that the carbon nanoparticles modified electrodes can provide the low overpotential, the biocompatible surface and the high reactivity, which all make the charge transfer at the interface become easier.
