Macromolecular cross-linked polybenzimidazole based on bromomethylated poly (aryl ether ketone) with enhanced stability for high temperature fuel cell applications

A series of phosphoric acid doped macromolecular-cross-linked polybenzimidazole (PBI) membranes were prepared for high-temperature proton exchange membrane fuel cell applications. The introduction of macromolecular cross-linker (BrPAEK) not only enhanced the proton conductivity, but also improved the chemical stability and mechanical strength of the membranes. 195
