Abstract
A polyethylene glycol derivative, polyethylene glycol dilaurate (PEGDL), is synthesized and adopted as physical cross-linking agent to enhance the performance, especially the mechanically property of gel polymer electrolytes (GPEs). PEGDL may form physical cross-link with either a UV-curable graft copolymer matrix or itself. The obtained GPE films show good film-forming property and better dimensional stability, while keeping good ionic conductivity and compatibility with the lithium electrode.
