Abstract
⺠Micro porous layer cracks proved to transport liquid water. ⺠Laser perforation of micro porous layer enhanced water transport just slightly. ⺠Improved water transport is found for complete gas diffusion media perforations. ⺠Highest performance is achieved for perforations with 60 μm of diameter. ⺠Synchrotron tomography shows water filling behavior of different perforations.
