Abstract
► Layered perovskite PrBa0.5Sr0.5Co2−xFexO5+δ (PBSCF) was investigated as cathode materials for solid oxide fuel cells. ► Partial substitution of Fe for Co can effectively decrease thermal expansion coefficient to match the electrolyte. ► PBSCF with x = 0.5 shows the highest power density. ► Microstructure, conductivity and polarization resistance play important roles in electrochemical performance.
