Abstract
⺠The stress of graphite anode in pouch cell is characterized. ⺠Compressive stress inhomogeneously distribute in graphite anode. ⺠Stress generates and accumulates in the early stage of cycling process. ⺠Stress of graphite anode is directly related to cell thickness swelling. ⺠Stress causes fast capacity fading during cycling process.
