Abstract
► LiCo1/3Mn1/3Ni1/3O2 hollow spheres are prepared firstly by a template method. ► LiCo1/3Mn1/3Ni1/3O2 hollow spheres are constructed by many nanoparticles. ► Many pores on the wall of spheres benefit for wetting particles by electrolyte. ► This material presents a super rate capability (10C: 91.5 mAh g−1).
