Abstract
► Well-graphitized CNTs with uniform diameter grown over bimetallic Fe-Cr-SBA-15. ► Charge-transfer resistance (Rct) of CNTs was lower than that of Pt. ► CNTs counter electrode based DSSCs showed higher solar to electric efficiency. ► CNTs are suitable alternative cathode material to replace Pt in DSSCs.
