Abstract
⺠A polypyrrole-coated LiV3O8-nanocomposite was prepared. ⺠It is suggested as anode material for aqueous rechargeable lithium batteries. âºÂ Polypyrrole acts as a conducting matrix as well as a volume change buffer agent. âºÂ It holds LiV3O8 nanorods inside the particles during the charge/discharge cycles. ⺠Electrochemical performance of PPy@LiV3O8 is significantly enhanced.
