Abstract
⺠Layered double hydroxides (LDHs) were used as ionomer of an alkaline fuel cell. ⺠Ni-Al and Mg-Al LDH intercalated with CO32â were added to the catalyst layer. ⺠The catalyst layer with LDHs showed better performance than that without LDHs. ⺠OHâ conductive LDHs contribute to constructing more favorable triple phase boundary regions.
