Abstract
⺠Nanostructured IrO2:F thin films have been wet chemically synthesized. ⺠Thin film of IrO2:F (F=20 wt.%) exhibit 19% higher catalytic activity than IrO2. ⺠All F doped IrO2 thin films show higher catalytic activity than pure undoped IrO2. ⺠All F doped IrO2 thin films exhibit comparable durability compared to pure IrO2. ⺠Thin films of IrO2:F are promising anode electrocatalysts for water electrolysis.
