Abstract
⺠First study of using Au/MnO2-C nanocomposite as the anode catalyst for direct glucose alkaline fuel cells (DGAFCs). ⺠Higher activity than Pt/C and Au/C from Au/MnO2-C but with less noble metal. ⺠A promising approach to enhance activity of glucose oxidation catalysts with lower cost.
