Abstract
▸ A novel cobalt-free cathode material GdBaFeNiO5+δ for IT-SOFC was prepared. ▸ The conductivity of GdBaFeNiO5+δ reached 185 S cm−1 in oxygen at 375 °C. ▸ An anode-supported BZCY electrolyte membrane was prepared by a simple process. ▸ Peak power density of the cell H2, Ni-BZCY|BZCY|GBFN, air was 456 mW cm−2 at 700 °C.
