Abstract
⺠Lead-acid starter batteries with different carbon blacks in the negative active material were cycled in typical PSoC tests. ⺠Batteries with highly ordered carbon blacks in the NAM showed superior cycle life in the 17.5% DOD test. ⺠Electrical data have been complemented by SEM, TEM and Raman investigations.
