Abstract
► Sea urchin-like TiO2 spheres were used to prepare flexible electrode. ► Quasi-solid state dye-sensitized solar cell was fabricated by the electrode. ► TiO2 spheres can supply sufficient surface area for dye adsorption. ► Sea urchin-like structures ensure good particle interconnection. ► TiO2 sphere-based flexible cell shows higher efficiency than the P25-based one
