Abstract
► Hollow SnO2 nanotubular materials are synthesized using kapok fibers as templates. ► The prepared nanotube is composed of nanosized SnO2 with sizes smaller than 12 nm. ► The nanotubular electrode exhibits a stable reversible capacity of 600 mAh g−1.
