Abstract
► Nanoporous LSCO interlayers grown by pulsed laser deposition. ► The interlayer thicknesses varied from ∼50 nm to ∼500 nm. ► Improved electrochemical and mechanical properties of the bi-layer cathodes observed. ► Significantly improved cell performance demonstrated with bi-layer cathode.
