Abstract
⸠Nano-sized Li2FeSiO4 was synthesized by sol-gel method using as an anode material for lithium ion batteries. ⸠The Li2FeSiO4 anodes delivered an initial discharge capacity of 880 mA h gâ1. ⸠The anodes exhibited excellent cycling and rate performance. ⸠Ex-situ XRD, XPS and cyclic voltammograms have been analyzed and interpreted to conjecture the reaction mechanism.
