Abstract
⺠A life model is developed by including the Mn dissolution for a lithium ion cell with spinel cathode. ⺠The radius change due the Mn dissolution is considered in the life model. ⺠The temperature effect on the Mn dissolution is included in the life model. ⺠The resistance of the inactive film generated due to the Mn dissolution is included in the life model.
