Abstract
► PtMnCuX/C (X = Fe, Co, Ni, and Sn) alloys have been synthetized and characterized. ► PtMnMoX/C (X = Fe, Co, Ni, Cu and Sn) alloys have been synthesized and characterized. ► All quaternary alloys showed superior activity towards ethanol oxidation. ► All quaternary alloys illustrated a facilitated oxidation of ethanol.
