Abstract
⺠Novel MCC for simultaneous wastewater purification and bioenergy generation. ⺠The MCC with immobilized Chlorella vulgaris generates power density 88% higher than that suspended. ⺠Immobilized C. vulgaris has extended and stable bioactivity, and thus benefits to MCC.
