Abstract
► Ba3Ca1.18Nb1.82O9−δ (BCN18)-based SOFCs were fabricated by novel two-step co-sintering method. ► Low co-sintering temperature was achieved for anode-supported SOFCs using BCN18 electrolyte. ► Dense BCN18 electrolyte and porous anode with fine particles were obtained. ► Combined with proper electrodes, two-step co-sintering led to higher cell performance.
