Abstract
⺠Failure mechanisms in the LiNi0.5Mn1.5O4 electrode at elevated temperature. ⺠The electrode failure is caused by the breakdown of electrically conductive network. ⺠Crack or void forms inside the composite electrode layer. ⺠Reinforcing the electrically conductive network is effective to mitigate the failure.
