Abstract
► Carbon-coated nanoclustered LiMn0.71Fe0.29PO4 were prepared. ► The clustered morphology resulted in improved tap density and volumetric capacity. ► The carbon-coated LiMn0.71Fe0.29PO4 exhibited much better performance than the carbon-coated LiMnPO4. ► The ex-situ surface analyses were carried out using Raman spectroscopy, TOF-SIMS, and ICP-OES.
