Abstract
⺠Direct utilization of solid carbon in a solid oxide fuel cell was demonstrated. ⺠Boudouard reaction can be observed from the operation of carbon fuel cell. ⺠Addition of CO2 and CO results in an increase in the carbon fuel cell performance. ⺠Electricity is mainly produced from carbon at low current density. ⺠Electricity is mainly produced from CO at high current density.
