Abstract
► We dispersed solvothermal-grown LiFePO4 powder in sucrose solution to fabricate LFP/C thin films. ► The thickness, carbon content and morphology of the films are controllable. ► This film has high surface area, high porosity, short lithium and electron transition path. ► This film has excellent electrochemical performance and good cyclic stability. ► The initial discharge capacity of this film is 162 mAh g−1 at 1 C rate.
