Abstract
⺠Mechanisms of charge retention in Ni/MH battery are reported and linked to Al/Mn. ⺠A high-temperature accelerated scheme was verified to simulate long-term storage. ⺠Y2O3 was found to reduce both the reversible capacity loss and impedance increase.
