Abstract
⺠A complete electrode polarization model of a SOFC has been developed. ⺠Model incorporated electrode microstructural parameters into cell performance. ⺠Model agreed within 10% of the EIS results for different anode microstructures. ⺠Homogeneous anode optimal particle size decreased with increasing anode porosity. ⺠Cell optimization should balance electrochemical aspect and structural reliability.
