Abstract
► We develop conductive hydrophilic coatings for PEM fuel cell performance and water management. ► Coatings based on functionalized carbon and dipodal silane. ► Coatings show low contact resistance compared to hydrophilic silica or titania coatings. ► Demonstrated durability through 1200 h simulated fuel cell environmental testing.
