Abstract
⺠Dynamics of liquid water droplets in a PEM fuel cell channel is analyzed both experimentally and numerically. ⺠Droplet shape change and detachment are visualized by high resolution CCD camera. ⺠Droplet deformation and detachment is simulated by using Volume of Fluid method. ⺠Both experimental and numerical data show good agreements with analytic solution. ⺠The analytical solution of the We-Re correlation is validated in a certain range of H/r values.
